My name is Samantha and I have hiked Irelands 32 counties highest peaks in 32 days for Husky Rescue Ireland!
Husky Rescue Ireland was set up to alleviate the suffering caused to huskies and akitas by irresponsible ownership, abuse and neglect in Ireland.
This team works tirelessly to rescue and rehome husky’s, akitas and mix breads.
The work they do is wonderful but they desperately need funds for vet bills. Please donate anything you can for this great cause

What is the challenge?
In August 2023 I set out to climb the highest peak in every county in Ireland in 32 days.
A full list of peaks and information about each of the peaks can be found below or here.
I found that when navigating the mountains that the AllTrails app helped. It gave me various routes to each peak. Not all mountains/hills have well trodden paths so the record functionality on allTrails was very helpful to ensure that I did not get lost on any of the mountain trails when conditions and visibility were poor.
